Jordan Love set for Sprint Cup title showdown at Zandvoort

Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver, Jordan Love, heads to Circuit Zandvoort in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup for a fierce championship showdown that will see the Silver Cup title decided in a winner takes all weekend of racing in the final round of the season. This season has seen Jordan and the Haupt Racing Team assert themselves as a title contender from the opening round of the season, notching up class wins in Misano and Hockenheim, seven class podiums and three pole positions in an impressive display from the Australian to leave him only one point behind the class leaders.

Jordan will be joined in the #77 HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 by the returning Frank Bird, who will be back in the car after stepping aside from the previous rounds in Hockenheim and Valencia respectively. Jordan and the team travels to Circuit Zandvoort, which will welcome a bumper 30-car grid to contest a pair of one-hour races. The 4.3km circuit located on the North Sea coast, is a particular favourite amongst the drivers with it's iconic banked corners and challenging blend of high and low speed corners that provide plenty of overtaking opportunities throughout. Speaking ahead of the upcoming title decider, Jordan said: "This season has been fantastic and we've shown some great pace throughout with multiple wins, podiums and pole positions. It'll be great to have Frank back in the car with me for this final round and it's going to be intense, but I'm going to get out on track and give it everything I have to claim that title!"

The action begins early on Friday, with free practice and pre-qualifying, before Saturday sees qualifying getting underway at 09:35 (local time) followed by race one at 14:00. Sunday follows the same format once more with qualifying at 09:30 followed by the second race at 14:00. Live coverage and timing across the weekend can be found on the GT World Challenge website.
